Great Bowden, Market Harborough - Victorian Terrace Loft Conversion

We wanted to add some space to our Victorian terrace in Great Bowden and did not want to take on all the costs associated with moving home, so we decided to go for a loft conversion in order to build a nice big office space (that can be used as a bedroom in the future) and an en suite bathroom.

John was great throughout and he and his team just got on with the loft without us really being aware of the work. This is possible, as they put up scaffolding and then work through a hole in the roof, so they don’t need access through the house until the end of the project, where they create the stairway into the new loft space - very cool - had no idea this is how they would work and it meant very minimal dust and disruption.

The whole project was done and dusted (literally) in under 5 weeks and we genuinely miss John and the team - really good folk. We are chuffed with the extra space and the view out of the full-width rear window is fantastic!

We have a bungalow, so the addition of a loft conversion was always going to make a huge difference in the space/feel of our home. Having put aside some funds and thought about the conversion for a long time, we agreed the project with Harborough Lofts and could not be more happy with the results.

The space is fantastic, but what really made a difference was the little details, like a built-in set of shelves on the loft stairs and some really useful storage space they put in for us.
